Silent Hill Shattered Memories’ tedious, frustrating, more-annoying-than-scary chase sequences are so much worse than Silent Hill 1-5’s tedious, frustrating, more-annoying-than-scary mash-button-to-swing-weapon-because-using-a-lead-pipe-to-beat-the-tar-out-of-demons-makes-so-much-fucking-sense-and-is-so-immersive-and-really-makes-the-game-much-more-enjoyable-than-legitimately-intense-interesting-and-challenging-chase-sequences fighting mechanics.
